Crowthorne Good Neighbours is a voluntary scheme to transport elderly and/or infirm people to hospital / doctor / dentist appointments. It is not associated in any way with the Crowthorne Community Minibus but helps similar people in a different way.
The Good Neighbours scheme relies on volunteer drivers who use their own cars to collect people from home and take them to and return them from their appointment. The service is free to passengers although they usually show their gratitude by a donation. Drivers are reimbursed by the scheme on a mileage basis at 45p per mile.
Administration operates out of the Baptist Church in Crowthorne High Street and can be contacted on 01344 761001
